Is it Really Waterless ?

Yes!

Really, really waterless?

Yes!

What are its limitations?

It will clean the dirtiest of cars, but there are varying levels of dirt! A general rule, if you can't see the bodywork through the dirt, its too dirty. Not many cars get that dirty through normal use.

Redline Magazine...

"There's loads of technical jargon about how Ultra-Ion™ works, but what's most important is how well it works, removing even dried bird droppings!

It lasts for ages, makes cleaning a car a doddle, and is perfect for buffing your motor to a brilliant shine"

Robert Crossland, Smart Shine..."I'm a professional valeter and found Ultra-Ion™ to be very effective and easy-to-use. It means I can dispense with having to use a variety of other products, clean cars more quickly, and get fantastic results"

Waterless Car Wash Products Frequently Asked Questions.

What is it? Ultra-Ion™ is a revolutionary treatment than advances car cleaning into the 21st Century. It replaces the process of washing (water, shampoo, drying) and waxing (polish, protecting) into a simple and economical "spray-wipe-buff" application
What can I use it on? Bodywork, glass and wheels. It can also be used on aircraft, boats, caravans, motorcycles and almost any hard sealed surface.
How does it work ? As you spray the formula on, dirt, grime, insects and bird droppings are broken down and suspended in microscopic capsules (this prevents scratching). As you wipe these away, a blend of high quality polymers and an ionic compound bond with the surface to leave a deep shine and tough protective barrier.
Can it scratch ? No, it actually creates a safer system for dirt removal than soapy water and a sponge!
How dirty is dirty? Always use common sense. Wash areas if you feel they are excessively dirty (you can't see the surface) or there is heavy tree sap.

How often can it be used ?

As often as you like or to replace a normal wash.
What about the environment? You won't waste water (a hosepipe can use up to 10 litres per minute) and effluents from shampoo and other products won't enter the eco-system.
How long will a bottle last? A 1 Litre bottle will clean up to 16 "mid-size" cars, although several factors will dictate this; size of car, amount used (more or less than recommended), ambient conditions. Etc.
How long will it take ? This depends on vehicle size and how fast you work! A complete clean (bodywork, glass and wheels) should take 25-45 minutes.
Can it be applied to a wet surface ? No, dry the surface before application. If it comes into contact with water it may streak (remove by buffing once the surface has dried).

What if the weather is bad?

Normally you won't be creating any mess/water spill, so you can work in a garage or covered area.
Can it be used on all finishes ? Yes, but follow manufacturers instructions for new finishes, which generally recommend a 90 day period before applying any product.
Whar does it contain? Over 45 ingredients including emulsifiers, lubricants, wetting and cleaning agents and PolyGuard-3™ (a unique series of high quality polymers). It does not contain synthetic or organic wax, silicone or Teflon.
How does it compare to traditional waxes, polishes and sealants? Ultra-Ion™ contains a blend of high quality polymers (see above) that replace traditional waxes, polishes and paint sealants: Waxes: offer a good level of surface protection, but can leave the paint looking dull after a period of time. Polishes: are great at revitalising dull paint and removing minor blemishes, but are often abrasive and provide little protection. Paint Sealants: protect very well but don't clean or polish.
How to Use Follow detailed instructions sent with the product before use.1. Lightly mist a manageable area of bodywork using sweeping strokes. Don't soak the surface! 2. With a terry cloth wipe in a circular motion until a haze develops. Don't buff the haze. 3. Use a polishing or clean terry cloth and buff the haze. 4. Repeat this procedure for the rest of the bodywork and glass.4. Use your terry application cloth and wipe wheels, door, boot, engine surrounds and wiper blade rubbers. Buff as normal.
