* EazyWash suggest that whilst their product can be used on
a wet vehicle; the results are better when the vehicle is
dry.
The
vast majority of UK waterless car wash products work on
the same principle; spray on, wipe off and buff to a shine.
Waterless
valet products have a protectant such as carnauba wax or
a silicone polymer that is left on the bodywork, this is
what provides the glossy shiny finish.
Some products may contain a polishing ingredient, kaolin
clay for example, is an extremely fine abrasive that buffs
out those small surface scratches.
How
can you clean a car without water?
The
waterless car wash literally lifts dirt from the vehicle
by emulsification then surrounds and coats the dirt molecules,
lifting them from the paint surface.
Plain
English please!!
Imagine
a jellybean, the coating of the sweet being the emulsification
(the chemical) and the centre being the dirt safely encased.
When
the waterless car wash is sprayed onto the vehicle, the
liquid covers the grains of dirt creating a barrier, so
the actual waterless car wash chemical is touching the bodywork
not the dirt.
In some
products, a protectant, such as carnauba wax or a form of
silicone polymer is left on the surface, which provides
the glaze. The product may also contain a polishing ingredient,
such as kaolin clay, a super fine powder like abrasive that
buffs out small surface scratches without scratching the
paint..
